ASSOCIATE PASTOR OF
CHRISTIAN FORMATION
Pastor Kevin and Halyna became part of the Vancouver First Church family in the fall of 2018 when they arrived from Toronto for Kevin to study at Regent College. They now are parents to their little girl Eva Beth. Kevin oversees our discipleship ministries and leads our active Men’s group.
Kevin has been following Christ for a decade now. He came to know the Lord in the fall of 2012 after a near-death experience which led him to hear the gospel through a brave Korean nurse. Ever since he has tried his best to pursue Christ wholeheartedly. Kevin is an American citizen from Colombian background who has lived in Canada for the last decade.
Kevin loves learning and teaching the Bible, so much that he spent the past 7 years studying biblical studies and currently teaches biblical Greek at Regent College. Before taking his current role at First Church he served as a volunteer Associate Pastor at Brampton Spanish Church of the Nazarene for 3 years.
